In 1986, while in law school, I began to collect and occasionally deal in paintings and prints as my schedule and finances allowed. While I primarily focused on works of the Pacific Northwest, Hawaii, the Philippines and Indo Pacific region, and Japan. I have since expanded gallery inventory and expertise to include diverse American and European paintings and prints as well. What started as a hobby escalated into a passion and ultimately became my profession. I practiced law only briefly before becoming a full time art dealer.

Professional Affiliations

My professional affiliations include the Fine Art Dealers Association (FADA), the International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA), and the Ukiyo-e Dealers Association of Japan. All Japanese prints are exhibited on the partner site, www.theartofjapan.com
